Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital



Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital serves the Pima and Papago Indian population of the Gila River Indian Reservation region. It has been under tribal control since October 1,1995.

The hospital mainly serves as an outpatient clinic. However, the premises also feature 12 inpatient beds for acute illness and an emergency department. Those requiring surgery or ICU stay are taken to the hospitals in Phoenix.

The hospital also delves in training new physicians. The casual atmosphere and medium pace allow the students ask questions or seek guidance.



Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
