Pitt County Memorial Hospital
Pitt County Memorial Hospital is one of the four academic medical centers in North Carolina, and is a tertiary referral center based at Greenville. This center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
The hospital is committed to provide acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to the community. Its key services are substance abuse specialist, occupational and recreation therapies, ophthalmology, neonatal, neurosurgery, podiatry, gynecology, plastic surgery and orthopedics.
Outpatient services include ambulatory medical unit, pre- and post-operative care, cardiac, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, vascular and urology.
PCMH also serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
