Catawba Valley Medical Center is the largest not-for-profit community hospital in Catawba County. Its mission is to provide quality health care through promoting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being of the patient.

CVMC offers occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychological services, a full range of orthopaedic services, prosthetics/orthotics program, a comprehensive diagnostic sleep center and access to state of the art CT and MRI imaging. It heals and comforts patient through latest medical technology, comfortable environment and highly qualified staff.

In addition, CVMC serves as a center for health education, wellness services, preventative medicine and acute care.

Catawba Valley Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of HealthCare Organizations. It is the 32nd hospital in the nation to seek and attain this level of excellence—the gold award in patient care. In addition, the center has clinical affiliation agreements with many colleges.
