Towner County Medical Center, a modern fully integrated health care provider in Cando, North Dakota, operates a 20-bed acute care facility, a rural health clinic located in Devils Lake, a 54-bed skilled nursing facility, a basic care unit, a 12 bed drug and alcohol center and an elderly housing unit. The hospital offers general medical, surgical, obstetrical and emergency care. Its obstetrics division offers the services of three family practice physicians and two physician assistants, and a nursing staff. TCMC offers a variety of surgical procedures including hernia repairs, biopsies, hysterectomies, c-sections, tonsillectomies, skin grafting, hemorrhoidectomy, appendectomy, foreign body removal and tubal ligations. Hospital’s outpatient services provided include physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, support services and emergency room / Level IV Trauma.
