Altru Health System

Altru Health System is an integrated health system headquartered in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This community-owned, not-for-profit organization system was created in 1997 with the integration of Grand Forks Clinic and United Health Services. Altru offers care from seven locations in Grand Forks and seventeen regional clinics and has more that 3,200 employees, 190 physicians and 400 volunteers.

The system comprises of Altru Hospital, a 277-bed acute care hospital; Altru Rehabilitation Center; Altru Cancer Center; Grand Forks Family Medicine Residency and a comprehensive network of clinics throughout northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Its facilities serve as the primary teaching hospital for the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.

Altru Health System provides both Research and Teaching facilities.
