Saunders County Health Services

Saunders County Health Services is a county-owned organization committed to provide affordable and quality healthcare to the citizens of Saunders County and surrounding areas. Established in 1924, it is a member of the Heartland Health Alliance, a 35-hospital member organization created in 1995 to help members enhance the delivery of rural health care.

Saunders County Health Services provides a wide array of medical care services with the latest technological healthcare advancements. Services include 25-bed critical access hospital/swing bed, full services lab, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, CT scanning, vascular testing, magnetic resonance imaging, physicians clinic, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, sleep study, St. Elizabeth hospice, long-term care unit, bone density testing and nuclear medicine.

The campus houses a 25-bed critical access hospital, a long-term care facility and a physicians clinic.

Saunders County Health Services accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
