Deborah Heart and Lung Center

Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a 161-bed teaching hospital, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung and vascular diseases in adults, and congenital and acquired heart defects in adults and children. It was started in 1922 as a tuberculosis sanitarium and pulmonary center. The hospital provides the most comprehensive heart, lung and vascular care in the region, from complex surgeries to testing, general follow-up care, and second opinions.

Deborah Heart and Lung Center houses a full-service ambulatory care center, center for adults with congenital heart disease, multidisciplinary lung cancer program, women’s heart health initiative, sleep diagnostics laboratory, high altitude simulation testing, comprehensive endovascular medicine and a full-service and cutting-edge electrophysiology department.

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Deborah Heart and Lung Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
