Founded in 1890, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC) is a 520-bed acute care teaching hospital affiliated with the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine. It provides state-of-the-art compassionate care in a humanistic environment.

The center offers a wide array of professional medical services, including anesthesiology/critical care, bloodless medicine and surgery, breast care, cancer care, gynecology, mental health services and sleep disorders.

The hospital conducts educational programs such as childbirth education and emergency care, seminars and free screenings. The hospital library provides reference service, interlibrary loans, computer searches and computer lessons to the staff and patients.
