An affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, Monmouth Medical Center is one of New Jersey's largest community teaching hospitals. It is a 527-bed facility located in Long Branch, New Jersey. Monmouth Medical Center is one of the state’s largest academic medical centers and is a teaching affiliate of MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia.

Monmouth provides clinical training to 300 medical students each year. The hospital offers a wide array of surgical specialties, including neurosurgery, otolaryngology and pediatric, plastic, advanced reconstructive and laparoscopic surgeries. It is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).
