Carrier Clinic

Started in 1910, Carrier Clinic is a private, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare system, specializing in psychiatric and addiction treatment. Carrier’s system includes 281 licensed bed inpatient psychiatric hospital, 32 bed detoxification and rehabilitation center, a 78 bed adolescent residential facility and a fully accredited middle and high school for students classified emotionally disturbed.

The hospital offers treatments for anxiety, depression, dementia, and substance dependence for adolescents and older adults. Carrier has residential and educational program for adolescents, specialized services for the older adult, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) services. Carrier Clinic is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).

Carrier Clinic accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
