Ramapo Ridge Psychiatric Hospital

Ramapo Ridge Psychiatric Hospital, a 46-bed psychiatric hospital, meets the needs of the mentally ill with care, compassion and commitment. It provides a full range of treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The hospital is licensed by the State of New Jersey and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

An individual treatment program is prepared for each patient by an interdisciplinary treatment team. Treatment teams include a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurses and aides, social worker, activities therapists, psychologist, and dietitian. The hospital’s Ramapo Ridge Adult Partial-hospitalization Program is a preventive program to inpatient treatment or as a step in the continuum of care following inpatient treatment.
