University of New Mexico Hospital
One of the 100 top-performing hospitals in the United States, University of New Mexico Hospital is the primary clinical component of UNM Health Sciences Center. The hospital primarily serves as the teaching hospital for the students of UNM School of Medicine and is the home of the highly regarded UNM Children's Hospital, a leading children’s hospital providing the most advanced neonatal and pediatric care available in the state.
UNMH provides a comprehensive range of specialty and subspecialty care to ethnically and culturally diverse populations throughout New Mexico, with many of those specialties not available anywhere else in the state. Its wide range of services includes adult acute services, ambulatory services, diagnostic services, rehabilitation services, surgical services and women's health services. The hospital is also home to the only Level I Trauma Center in the state.
