This hospital, an affiliate of Triad Hospitals, INC., operates in partnership with its sister facility, Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Carlsbad Medical Center primarily offers general medical and vascular-surgical care. It also offers pediatric medical-surgical care, level 2 women’s services / obstetrics unit, medical-surgical intensive care / transitional care, neonatal intensive care, skilled nursing care, 24-hour emergency department, diagnostic radioisotope facility, and cardiac catheterization lab.
