Miners' Colfax Medical Center

Miners' Colfax Medical Center is a fully licensed, state-owned facility specifically established for the care and treatment of occupationally injured/ill miners throughout New Mexico. It operates a long term care facility, a 33-bed acute care hospital, and various outpatient clinics.

Its acute care facility consists of a medical-surgical unit, an intensive care unit, an obstetrics unit, operating rooms, and 24-hour emergency services. Long-Term Care facility, located at 900 Sixth Street in Raton, offers an intermediate care residential unit for less ambulatory residents who require periodic nursing care, an adult residential unit, and a fitness center.

In addition, The New Mexico Heart Institute holds monthly cardiology clinics at its acute care facility.

Miners' Colfax Medical Center accepts Medicare patients.
