Heart Hospital of New Mexico

Heart Hospital of New Mexico is the state's first hospital solely dedicated to the prevention and treatment of heart disease. The hospital, opened its doors in October 1999, is formed from the shared vision of the New Mexico Heart Institute (NMHI) and Southwest Cardiology Associates (SWCA).

This state-of-the-art heart hospital provides comprehensive, cost-effective facilities for heart and vascular surgery. In addition to its 55 inpatient beds and three operating rooms, the hospital features a 7-bed, 24-hour full service emergency department. Wellness promotion, preventive medicine programs and cardiac rehabilitation services are also offered.

Heart Hospital of New Mexico accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
