Mesilla Valley Hospital treats patients with depression; suicidal behaviors; anxiety disorders; schizophrenia; bipolar disorders; alcohol and drug dependency; adolescent behavioral problems; sexual, physical, and emotional abuse; and psychosocial and severe psychosomatic problems. It also offers inpatient services in chemical dependency, group therapy, family therapy, psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Residential treatment facilities for boys and adolescent females, between the ages of 12 and 18, are also offered.

Mesilla Valley Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
