University Medical Center (UMC), the premier teaching hospital in the state, is dedicated to providing the highest level of health care possible by maintaining its ongoing commitment to personal, individualized care for each patient. Services include laboratory, nutrition counseling and pharmacy, trauma center, occupational therapy, burn care center and speech pathology. The hospital is affiliated with the University of Nevada School of Medicine. It has been serving the health care needs of Southern Nevadans since 1931.
