Peninsula Hospital Center

Peninsula Hospital Center (PHC) is an acute care, teaching hospital located in Far Rockaway, New York. It has been serving the communities of Rockaways, Five Towns, Queens and Brooklyn since 1908. It is an affiliate of the North-Shore Long Island Jewish Health System.

PHC provides all levels of diagnostic and therapeutic services. In addition to the rehabilitation services, an extensive range of dental and podiatry services are also available. The centers of excellence include Angels on the Bay Pediatric Unit, family health center and traumatic brain injury unit.

A selection of residency programs, internships and clinical clerkship positions are offered. These programs are approved by the American Osteopathic Association(AOA).

The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). It is approved by the New York State Department of Health and the New York Bureau of Radiological Health.

Peninsula Hospital Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
