Kingston Hospital

Kingston Hospital has been in service since 1894. It is an acute care medical facility, which promotes the health care for the people in Ulster County and the neighboring area by providing educational, preventive, diagnostic therapeutic and rehabilitative services. The hospital is a renowned site for TTY Services, also known as TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf). It enables hearing-impaired patients to convey messages to staff, physicians and other patients.

Kingston Hospital, the only hospital in the county to offer capsular endoscopy, specializes in medical and surgical care, ambulatory surgery, diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient physical medicine rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse detox, and acute and chronic renal dialysis services.

The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Kingston Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
