St Joseph's Medical Center

St Joseph's Medical Center, based at Yonkers, is a Catholic health care facility, sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul of New York. This medical center comprises an acute care hospital, 200-bed nursing home, numerous satellite programs, and a wide range of health care services.

The specialty services offered include renal dialysis, bone marrow transplant, cardiology, emergency medicine, medical education, mental health, outreach programs, primary care, support services, surgery, and urgent care.

Saint Joseph's Family Residency Program, the only family residency practice in Westchester County, was established in 1974. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

St Joseph's Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and licensed by the New York State Department of Health.

St Joseph's Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
