Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center

Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center was formed by merging the Lebanon Hospital and the Bronx Hospital in 1962. It is the largest voluntary health care system serving the south and central Bronx for over a century.

Services in surgery, anesthesiology, asthma care, cardiology, dentistry, diabetes care, family practice, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, mental health and ophthalmology are provided. In addition, numerous outreach programs and weekly live television shows about health issues are initiated to educate the community. The medical center has a nursing facility for AIDS and geriatrics patients and an extensive network of ambulatory medical clinics.

Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
