Eastern Long Island Hospital is a full-service, community hospital located in Greenport, New York. It has been serving the health care needs of the residents in North Fork and Shelter Island since 1905.

Eastern Long Island Hospital is the first voluntary hospital in Suffolk County. It also holds the reputation as being the first medical facility to offer X-ray services and bi-lateral joint replacement surgery in Suffolk. Services provided include ambulatory surgery, pain management, women's health, plastic surgery, addiction services, acupuncture, behavioral health, cardiology, diabetic management and family practice.

The hospital solves the community health care problems through its treatment and diagnostic services, ongoing health screenings and educational programs. Apart from primary care centers in Greenport and New York, the hospital operates outpatient addiction services in New York, and outpatient rehabilitation services in Southold and New York.

Eastern Long Island Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and licensed by the New York State Department of Health. It is a member of the Peconic Health Corporation Eastern Long Island Hospital.

Eastern Long Island Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
