Nyack Hospital

Nyack Hospital is a charitable, community health care center serving the residents in Rockland County and neighboring communities. It is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System and an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

This acute care hospital was founded in 1895. It offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including radiology, anesthesia services, home care, same day surgery, cardiac rehabilitation and palliative care. The centers of excellence include women's wellness center, wound care center, Edythe Kurz center for sleep medicine, stroke center, maternity center and vascular center.

Union State Bank Cancer Center, located at Nyack Hospital, is an affiliate of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. The center is operated by a multidisciplinary team of professionals and is functioned as an active participant in national clinical research trials.

The Patient and Community Education Department offers a variety of educational opportunities through classes, support services, seminars, symposiums, and screenings. Most of them are free or have a nominal cost.
