North Shore University Hospital

North Shore University Hospital is a tertiary care facility in Manhasset, New York. It is one of the clinical hubs of the Health System and an academic campus for the New York University School of Medicine. The hospital is recognized as the nation’s top hospital by AARP’s Modern Maturity magazine. The US News and World Report has named it as one of the 50 best hospitals in the nation for cardiac care.

North Shore is an integrated system of facilities including Sandra Atlas Bass Cardiology Center, Don Monti Cancer Center, level I trauma center, Schwartz Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Stern Family Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation. It strives to offer advanced care in all medical disciplines, including open-heart surgery for both adults and children. Heart health, infectious diseases, laboratory medicine and pathology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, pain management, radiology, rehabilitation and women's health are the key services provided.

The CPE program is theological and professional education for ministry. It is a minimum of 400 hours of supervised ministry and training, which begins in early October and continues through late April.
