Yonkers General Hospital
Yonkers General Hospital, a member of Riverside Health Care, is one of the first hospitals in the City of Yonkers to care for maternity patients and sick infants. Established in 1869, it was the first specialty hospital for women, started and managed solely by women. In 2001, Yonkers General Hospital officially merged with St. Johns Riverside Hospital and is now known as the ParkCare Pavilion.
The hospital is home to the first methadone maintenance treatment clinic outside of New York City which served as a treatment model throughout New York State.
It provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services, including HIV and addiction services.
