Cabrini Medical Center

Cabrini Medical Center (CMC) is an acute care, community based teaching hospital located in New York City. The hospital, sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, was formed by merging the Columbus Hospital and the Italian Hospital.

CMC offers numerous intensive care, inpatient psychiatric care and outpatient testing, and community health education services.

As a renowned teaching facility and an affiliate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, CMC offers graduate level medical education in primary care, medical and surgical subspecialties, and psychiatry. The psychiatry department conducts a one year full-time fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine.

Other facilities at Cabrini Medical Center include Level II trauma center and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO).

Cabrini Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
