Flushing Hospital Medical Center

Flushing Hospital Medical Center (FHMC), the fist hospital in Queens County, is a leading medical-teaching facility located in Flushing, New York. The hospital has been named in the nations ‘Top 100 Hospitals’ list for its clinical services.

The hospital was opened in 1884, with an aim at serving the health care needs of the community. Services provided include critical care medicine, ambulatory care, pulmonary medicine, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, urology, allergy-immunology care. The TJH Medical Center, a new venture of FHMC at Sanford Towers, is a fully licensed healthcare center serving the needs of the Chinese community residing in the surroundings.
