Long Island Jewish Medical Center, the clinical and academic hub of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System, is a voluntary, tertiary care teaching hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. Its service area includes the greater metropolitan New York, Queens and Long Island.

The medical center comprises Long Island Jewish Hospital (a 452-bed tertiary adult care hospital), heart institute, pain and headache treatment center, sleep disorders center, the center for new life with private labor or delivery, the Institute of Oncology, Schneider Children's Hospital for pediatrics and Zucker Hillside Hospital for psychiatric care. Long Island Jewish Hospital is recognized as one of the top 100 cardiology hospitals in the U.S.

Some of the services offered include surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, medicine, dental care, cardiothoracic surgery, anesthesiology, pain management and nursing.

The medical center offers a graduate medical education program, which is one of the largest in New York State. Long Island Jewish Medical Center is the Long Island Campus for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Long Island Jewish Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
