Benedictine Hospital

Benedictine Hospital is a progressive acute care facility serving the needs of northern Hudson Valley. The hospital, formerly known as Our Lady of Victory Sanitarium and Training School for Nurses and Domestics, was opened in 1901.

Benedictine, one of the forty-four hospitals in the Hudson Valley region to be elected as a Community Cancer Hospital by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer, offers inpatient and outpatient services. Mental healthcare, ambulatory surgery, audiology, breast care, intensive rehabilitation, laparoscopic surgery, occupational therapy, physical medicine and respiratory care are the key services provided.

Benedictine Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the New York State Office of Mental Health.

Benedictine Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
