Cayuga Medical Center At Ithaca

Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca has been serving the residents of Ithaca and the greater Finger Lakes region for more than 100 years. The hospital, one of the nine rural referral centers in the state, is a short term acute-care facility offering diagnosis and treatment services.

The hospital uses some of the latest diagnostic and treatment capabilities available that includes three-dimensional neurosurgery systems, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, sentinel node breast biopsy and fast-spin echo MRI imaging. Behavioral health, cardiopulmonary services, endoscopy, medical rehabilitation, pre-admission testing, surgical services, diabetes care, outpatient rehabilitation, pain management and volunteer services are the key services provided.

Cayuga Medical Center is an affiliate of more than 30 teaching institutions. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
