Bellevue Maternity Hospital

Bellevue Women's Hospital (BWH), founded in 1931, is the only women's hospital in northeastern New York providing medical, surgical and obstetrical care for women of all age groups. It is one of the largest obstetrical services and one of the three high risk neonatal centers in northeastern New York.

BWH has more than 170 specially dedicated and board certified physicians representing all specialties. The centers of excellence include a family-centered childbirth center, a center for urology and continence care, center for fertility and advanced reproductive medicine and Neil and Jane Golub breast care center.

The hospital arranges support groups and a range of health and fitness classes for women of all ages. BWH is a member of the American Hospital Association and fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Bellevue Maternity Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
