Southampton Hospital is a voluntary medical facility located in Southampton, New York. It has been serving the residents in east Hampton and Shelter Island since 1909.
Southampton, the largest infirmary in eastern Long Island, offers a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services in a confidential and private manner. It is staffed by more than 200 physicians and allied health professionals representing over 42 medical and surgical practice areas. Ambulatory surgery, joint replacement, diabetes care, rehabilitation and dialysis are some of the key services provided.
The hospital owns satellite clinics which are equipped with some of the advanced diagnostic and treatment equipments, including 3-D sonography, 16-slice CT and vascular angiography. Southampton Care Center, an affiliated 62-bed facility, provides nursing and rehabilitation services.
The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and licensed by the New York State Department of Health. It is a member of NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System and the American Hospital Association.
