North Central Bronx Hospital

Established in 1976, North Central Bronx Hospital (NCBH) is a primary care, community hospital in Bronx, New York. It is the first infirmary of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation to introduce primary care services in a hospital setting. NCBH is an associate of the North Bronx Healthcare Network.

NCBH offers a wide range of primary, medical, surgical, obstetrical/gynecological, behavioral health and inpatient care services. The Center also provides a broad range of wellness programs, which include stress and pain management, weight loss, smoking cessation and cardiovascular risk reduction.

Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction is a specialty program, which is offered to patients of all age groups with joint injuries, especially older patients who suffer from arthritis. In addition, comprehensive medical, behavioral health and obstetrical services are offered to adult HIV patients. A broad range of psychosocial and therapies are also available as part of service.

North Central Bronx Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
