In 1997, Genesis HealthCare System was created as an affiliation between Bethesda Care System and Good Samaritan Medical Center. It operates two hospital sites, Genesis - Adair Avenue and Genesis - Maple Avenue. In addition to the regular services, the hospital offers a variety of topics and programs including a certified diabetes education program, nutrition consultations, teen sexual abstinence education, poison prevention training and periodic health screenings.
