East Liverpool City Hospital is a modern community hospital serving a population base of 75,000 in three states. It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Services offered are cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, speech pathology, dietary counseling, respiratory therapy, nuclear medicine and laboratory.

The hospital sponsors local support groups for respiratory illness, heart disease, breast cancer and mental illness. Health education programs such as free smoking cessation program, state-approved diabetic outpatient education class, prepared childbirth classes and CPR classes are offered to the public.
