Founded in 1949 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, TOSF, Marymount Hospital is an acute care facility, serving southern and southeastern Cuyahoga County and neighboring communities. The hospital, a 26-acre campus, houses medical office building, a 40-bed behavioral health center, Marymount Place, and a 104-unit community for independent seniors.
Its medical staff includes a comprehensive array of medical specialties and subspecialties supported by contemporary diagnostic and treatment equipment, programs, and services. As a part of The Cleveland Clinic Health System, the hospital serves as the base hospital for the paramedic programs of seven local communities. It is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
