Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare - Cambridge

Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare (ABH) - Cambridge provides inpatient care for acutely mentally ill adults from a 20-county area of southeastern Ohio. It is operated by Ohio Department of Mental Health and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). It is the largest provider of inpatient mental services in Appalachian area.

Services offered are evaluations, intensive psychiatric care, recovery, psychiatry, psychology, social services, patient education, occupational and recreational therapy and work evaluation. In addition, the hospital’s Community Support Network programs provide services to clients and their families residing in the community.

Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare - Cambridge accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
