J D McCarty Center for Children is a specialized child care hospital started in 1948 as Spastic Paralysis Institute. It aims to provide a comprehensive rehabilitative care to children of age between 0 - 21 with physical, cognitive and medical challenges.

The center offers a wide variety of services including telemedicine, outpatient and inpatient services, occupational therapy, communication disorders therapy, psychological testing, music therapy and recreational therapy.

J D McCarty Center For Children accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
