Eleanor Slater Hospital

Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital, a private, is the nation's first psychiatric hospital devoted exclusively to children and adolescents. Founded in 1931, it is affiliated to Brown University School of Medicine. This psychiatric center provides a full continuum of care for young people from infancy to age 22. The hospital is recognized as a national resource for the treatment of troubled children. It also operates the Bradley School, a fully certified special education school.

Eleanor Slater Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
