Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital

Richland Memorial Hospital, founded in 1892 as Columbia Hospital, is the oldest, largest and one of the best equipped health care providers in Colombia, South Carolina. In 1998, it merged with Baptist Healthcare System of South Carolina to form Palmetto Health, the largest healthcare delivery system in the state with two hospitals in Columbia and one in Easley, South Carolina. Specialty treatments are provided in obstetrics, orthopedics, psychiatry, cardiology, oncology, nephrology, neonatology, neurology, neurosurgery, and medical/surgical services.

Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
