Hilton Head Regional Medical Center, since opening its doors in 1975 (then Hilton Hospital), has been offering high quality medical services to the people of Hilton Head Island and neighboring places. It is an acute care facility offering specialty medical advice and treatment in the areas of cardiopulmonary services, occupational therapy, physical rehabilitation, ophthalmology and diabetes treatments.

Hilton Head Regional Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
