Roper Hospital, a part of Roper St. Francis Healthcare, is an acute care facility and a region referral center in downtown Charleston, in South Carolina. Since its humble beginning in 1850 as the first community hospital in the Carolinas, the center, over the years has grown to a 435 bed facility and is one of the trusted names in the healthcare scenario of Lowcountry area.
