It is in fact the only facility of its kind in North Charleston. The Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health provides health care services in the areas of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Adolescent Dual Diagnosis, Adult Psychiatry, Adult Chemical Dependency, Adult Dual Diagnosis, Geriatric Psychiatry and Residential Treatment Center (Child and Adolescent).

Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
