Avera Weskota Memorial Medical Center

Avera Weskota Memorial Medical Center is located on the Weskota Campus in Wessington Springs. Started in 1947 as Jerauld County Hospital, the new hospital complex was constructed in 1979. It is about 40 miles north-west of Mitchell.

Providing a total nursing care at Weskota Manor, Avera Weskota Memorial Medical Center has a primary care medical clinic, dentist office, vision center, mental health office and specialty clinics. A technology connecting rural hospitals with larger regional health care centers, Teleradiology, is the specialty of the hospital.

Pharmacy services are available in the hospital. Additional services provided by the campus are: Ambulance Service, Meals on Wheels, 40-Resident Nursing Facility and Congregate Apartment Housing.

Avera Weskota Memorial Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
