Rapid City Regional Hospital a not-for-profit regional medical center located in the southeast of Rapid City. Started in 1973 with 80 physicians, this regional hospital has over 300 acute-care beds. Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, this hospital is administered by a 13-member board of trustees.
