Baptist Memorial Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). It was the first hospital in Carroll County to do hip replacement surgery, first to perform laparoscopic surgery, first to have MRI services, first to do a bone density assessment, and the first to have a helical CT scanner.
