Williamson Medical Center serves Franklin and its surrounding localities, in Tennessee. It has been in service since 1957. The medical services include 24-hour emergency care, preventive health screenings and wellness activities. The staff comprises of more than 350 physicians of about 39 medical specialties. Newer additions to the state-of-the-art facilities include Robotic Surgery and Charite artificial Spinal Disc.

The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Its laboratory has been accredited by Commission of Laboratory Accreditation, the mammography program by the American College of Radiology; and to the diabetes education program by the American Diabetes Association. The Emergency Medical Services holds the highest rating possible from the Tennessee Department of Health.
