Middle Tennessee Medical Center is based at Murfreesboro, in Tennessee. The hospital is part of Saint Thomas Health Services and Ascension Health. It has been serving the people of Rutherford, Cannon, Coffee, Warren, and DeKalb counties since 1927.

Middle Tennessee Medical Center operates on a non-profit basis. The staff comprises of more than 200 physicians of about 30 different specialties, which include orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, neurology, plastic surgery, oncology, nephrology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT), pulmonology and internal medicine. The Emergency Department boasts an annual rate of 55,000 cases. The hospital caters to more than 90,000 outpatient cases. About 2,500 babies are born here each year.

The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Middle Tennessee Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
