Moccassin Bend Mental Health Institute

Moccassin Bend Mental Health Institute is located at Chattanooga, in Tennessee. It serves about 28 counties of Tennessee's Region II. It is one of the five regional inpatient psychiatric facilities operated by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities. It has been in service since 1961.

The institute offers a range of therapies, aimed at the welfare of the individual patients as well as the whole family. It accepts patients from the nearby community health centers on a reference basis.

Moccassin Bend Mental Health Institute has been accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Moccassin Bend Mental Health Institute accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
