Virginia Hospital Center was started in 1933 as a community service project. It provides quality clinical care to the people of greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.<p> It offers a broad range of medical services, which are highly specialized to meet the specific needs. Pulmonary rehabilitation, acute stroke, gastroenterology, laboratory services, neurosciences, nutrition and weight management, diabetics, orthopedics, pulmonary and radiology services are available.<p> Community based programs including lectures, exercise classes and childbirth preparation classes are arranged there.
